Mission Complete (Day 255)

I've been waiting for this day for quite some time. The day I finished my temp job! Don't get me wrong, I loved that job, but it was so tiring and to know that I don't have to wake up early and dress in ratty clothes covered in paint and whatever else is on those showroom floors is calming. (I am going to sound like the biggest southern belle right now, but don't ever think of me as that.) Tomorrow I will get to wear my hair down, I will get to put makeup on my face, I will get to dress in skinny jeans and a nice top, I won't have to wear tennis shoes, I will still smell good at the end of the day, I might even get to paint my fingernails!! And in a weeks time I'll be sick of doing all of that again, but for now I'm excited about it (See not a southern belle).

I am just so thankful that I had the experience and that I was able to see the entire project through. I now have skills I never thought I'd learn and more exposure to the creativity of a showroom designer. I enjoyed that every day was something new and different from the pervious days and that I wasn't sitting behind a desk.

I'm also thankful for the people in met. They are established adults who take their jobs seriously and it was encouraging to be around them while they were giving me compliments on my work. That was a serious confidence boost. And then to be given permission to work by myself for a week was something I never thought would happen. To be trusted like that meant a lot.

My last thing I want to be thankful for are the talents God has equipped me with. Making decisions and coming up with solutions to problems wasn't difficult at all. Answered flowed like water from a spring and I know that I should never stop thanking God for those skills. Because everything was so easy for me I know that the strength was not my own.
