Family Weekend (Day 90/91)
Saturday: My bother and I headed up to Durant, Ok to help clean out my grandparent's old house. Cleaning was tiring and even though driving back was tiring as well I really enjoyed being with my brother and talking about life. It's been a long time since I've been able to just sit back and talk with him. We've been on such different schedules and so far apart it hasn't happened. And for two weeks we're in the same place so I'm going to spend this time with him as much as I can.
Sunday: Took my mama to the Rangers game tonight. It was fantastic. 13 to 6 with a grand slam. There was a man selling popcorn that told our section if we bought a bag the batter, Cruz, would hit a grand slam. Three seconds later he hit it out of the park and we bought a bag of lucky popcorn! Still have the bag to take to the future games as well. :) We were in the nose bleed section but the seats were actually really good and seemed close. We pretty much got a free game by the end of the night because we got $7 off a t-shirt and free Taco Bueno! But the best part was just being with my brother and mom outside with the breeze blowing, the sun shining right above the stadium, and the good ole camaraderie of America's past time.
