New Wheels (Day 94)

Today I received my first custom set of wheels. They're putting it together at the shop as I type and you read. I get to go pick it up tomorrow. It's shiny and red with tiny white stripes down the side. Leather seating, thin black wheels with black rims. Front and rear brakes. Oh, and a chain, handle bars, and pedals. That's because I got a bike!

My first bike since I was little. Sorry to keep you on the edge of you seats. ;) It's a sort of early graduation present for me from my wonderful parents. Also a way to get around Tulsa without spending money on gas. I can go out for joy rides and trips to the grocery store. I just can't wait to take it out tomorrow for the first time. I'm a bit excited if you can't tell. I normally try not to talk about material things as blessings since humans tend to never stop wanting, but I'm making an exception because this possession will be with me for years. But anyways, I got a bike, I'm excited, and that's my blessing for the night.

This needs to be remembered when you find yourself receiving material blessings. Which is more important to you: possessions or relationships?
