I really wish I had more time to post tonight because I just read a passage that I have read many times but it never caught my attention until now. But I can't spend a lot of time because I just found out my job interview got moved to tomorrow instead of Friday! I guess that's God's way of blessing me by not letting me worry about the interview for two more days. He's only going to let me worry for a few more hours.
Another blessing today would be my friend Jon. I think I might have a few more followers after he posted my blog on his professional facebook page. So in return everyone needs to spend some time on his website. He's a wonderful photographer in Arkansas who graduated a year before me from Harding University. He gave up time to photograph the graphic design seniors for our senior show for free. So give him some love - http://www.jonyoder.com/
Now, the moment you've all been waiting for, ok maybe not, but hopefully it will touch a few of you. This was the first time I ever read this verse by itself. And that is probably the reason I've never understood it in the way I did today. For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. -Phil 2:13 It calms me to know God is working through me. It's something I've known since before baptism, but just to hear the words gives me peace. It's the same peace that lets me know I can never be hidden from my Father, I can never be separated, I can never be alone. He will always be there, setting up His plans. If I fall, He will be there working to get me back. If I flourish, He's will be there receiving the glory. He has my path planned out. Once again I'll say it's calming, it's peaceful.
And now I must go pack. Wish my luck.
