Out of My Car (Day 199)

A day in Tulsa. That is my blessing. I was surprised with an interview as I mentioned yesterday so I had to dash up there. One day in Tulsa was more entertaining than all my time in Dallas. I mean there are reasons for that. I've been working in Dallas and in Tulsa I got to play. It was an interesting day to say the least.

I had no house so I had to make due. I went to lunch with two friends, ended up having to change in my car for my interview, had my interview, changed in my car once again, since I had no place to go I went on a walk on riverside, ended up drinking out of the water fountains, and using to bathrooms provided on the trail, then went to the animal shelter with a friend, then actually got to change at her house, then went to chickfila to help support a baby with heart problems... oh ya and I ended up house sitting for a friend who I was supposed to stay with. Like I said, interesting. The thing is it was one of the best days I've had this summer. I really enjoyed not knowing my next move, not having a place to stay except out of my car, and having to make due with water fountains and public restrooms. It made me feel like I could survive if I really needed to. I never know what to expect when I come to Tulsa but I always know I'm loved and there will be people here to take care of me.

And if you're wondering about my interview. It's one of three so if I get a call back tomorrow it means I'm that much closer to getting the job. It's all in God's hands.
