Real (Day 117)

Not that my evening with my aunt tonight wasn't enjoyable but I really want to talk about something else that happened to me last night. Because it involves others, I can't go into much details, but it's not really necessary. So last night was the first night of exchange. Exchange is a time where a group of people who are doing seven weeks of study come together to be real. And let me tell you, people were real.
It was amazing seeing some of my friends open up. I thought I was close to them before, but seeing emotions spill out really made our bond that much stronger. It was also amazing to see the people I love be open about the hurts that made them who they are today and how God helped them overcome them. Those are real relationships and a real blessing.

I know it's short today but I have an early morning wakeup and a long drive tomorrow. There's a wedding in Arkansas I'm going to tomorrow. Wish me luck.. ok I don't need luck. I just need to get there safe.
