Monday equaled my last full day in Tulsa. I was able to spend some real quality time with Becca which was a necessity since she'll be leaving the country in September and their's a chance I won't see her again.
Tuesday I went over to a friend's house and we ate lunch and talked until I needed to leave. I still hadn't packed and had planned on leaving in the morning but he asked if we could hang out. He will also be leaving the country until November so I couldn't say no. Then my ride back to Dallas was drama free (no blow outs this time). It was good to take a trip and not have a few hours of pit stops.
Wednesday I got to see Tripp! For those of you who don't know him, he's like my Harding big brother. He moved to Dallas after graduation so I got to catch up with him. I also met a guy named David, who was actually in my graduating class, so we showed him around The Big D. It was an interesting night getting confused on the streets of Dallas, rushing to three different ice cream places before they closed, only making it on time to the third one, and going downtown to see a new bridge.
Today I got to enjoy a dinner with an old friend, Leslie. I loved catching up with this sweet girl. But you know what touched my heart the most? It was the texts from three friends back in Tulsa. They were unexpected, spontaneous, and wonderful. I had a friend write, "Sooo 20 Park isn't the same without you here." "Hey girl, I wanted you to know we missed you at church last night! Hope you have a wonderful couple of weeks and lets hang out when you get back!" and "Congratulations on your graduation! Hope you have a blessed weekend!" What amazing people I have back in my to be new home. I was sitting and thinking of how blessed I am to of stumbled upon that place. I've only been gone two days and people are loving and missing me. I hope that everyone can find the family I've found! God is good!
