Wonderfully busy day. So busy that this post may seem lacking of detail. The reason being it's not over yet and I'm dead tired. My paper came in so I was able to go to Kinko's and reprint my cover letters. This time there is no turning back because I sealed those babies today! Tomorrow they will be mailed and I'll start praying for responses. I also started on Becca's t-shirts! I'm screen printing shirts to help raise money for a friend who's going to 12 countries in 11 months. It's through a organization called
World Race. If you've read my "More About Me" section you've seen her, she's my other half in Tulsa. This isn't a chore to me. It's something I want to do because I love her. It's a way of using my talents for the greater good. If you want to know more about her trip here's her
blog as well.
There have been some hiccups along the way today. I had to drive back to Kinko's to get things reprinted for the screens. Then I had to go to an art store again to get more materials. One of the screen took easily 20 minutes to wash out (should only take 2-3). Then the next screen has been redone three times and it's on it's forth. Hopefully it will work this time. I've been sopping wet six times today from washing out the screens. My fingers are raw and cut, but with all of these mishaps I'm learning more about printing and one day I'll be a master at it.
Here are some pictures I took along the way to document the process for a professor.

This one's all done!
