A Smidgen of Strength (Day 59)

I judged too soon. I should of waited a few hours to write my last blog post. Not that the hug from my little swimmer wasn't a blessing, but I was given something else later. And let me add that it was after spending some quality time with my Father. I was about to head off to a study session after the busy day I had been through and I really didn't want to go. I prayed for strength and headed off to the library.

God definitely gave me strength. He gave me someone to help. He knows exactly what I need. Nothing makes me more determined than to help someone succeed, and this person needed help. I was able to keep at it for 2 1/2 hours and in the end, after quizzing her, my work paid off. She was able to answer most of the questions I asked her. She doesn't know it all. To her, I was just a girl, she had just met, that knew the material. But, what she doesn't know is she helped me more than I helped her. She gave me strength to keep going and she gave me a way to serve God. I was able to put her before me and in the end it made me feel great. There's my strength; right there. What a wonderful end to a day. I can't help but give thanks for that.
